Pasifik Technology General Manager M. Selman Dönmez stated that with unmanned aerial solutions designed for effective field use and technology-focused innovations, they have further increased their competitive strength in international markets. Highlighting their strong position in security and defense thanks to ALPİN—Türkiye’s first unmanned helicopter—as well as the DELİ Tactical Kamikaze System, the PARS Recon UAV, and swarm-enabled unmanned systems, Dönmez noted that they introduced four new products at SAHA EXPO 2024. Explaining that these products showcase the strength and creativity of Turkish engineering and bring a new breath of innovation to the defense sector, Dönmez described the products as follows:

‘DELİ 2 Kamikaze UAV is ready for mass production’

One of our new products, the DELİ 2 Kamikaze UAV, has successfully completed position-guided detonation tests both domestically and internationally. Designed for military units to engage beyond-line-of-sight (BLOS) targets from mobile or fixed locations, DELİ 2 performs critical missions including target detection, target neutralization, and capturing photo, video, and location data of targets. Its biggest advantage is the ability to integrate warheads already in the user’s inventory. The high-safety electromechanical fuse system—designed to accommodate various warheads—allows DELİ 2 to be safely recalled when necessary.

‘DUMRUL Mini UCAV stands out with its portability’

DUMRUL, a quiet electric-motor helicopter, has a take-off weight of 17–18 kg and an endurance of up to 30 minutes. Capable of close-range tracking, DUMRUL can neutralize enemy targets through its under-mounted weapon systems and integrated imaging capabilities.

‘DELİ Mini stands out with its ability to operate in GNSS-denied environments’

DELİ Mini, with its advanced autonomous and semi-autonomous mission capabilities, will offer significant advantages on the field. Classified as a versatile unmanned aerial vehicle, DELİ Mini will successfully perform missions with a cruise speed of 22 m/s and a maximum speed of 45 m/s. With a 30-minute flight time, a range of 35 km, and a control distance of 20 km, it can be used across wide operational areas.

‘MERKÜT: A fully FPV-designed, fully indigenous system’

Developed in about a year, MERKÜT is a fully indigenous system designed as a First Person View (FPV) platform. Operated manually by the pilot while visually tracking the target, the system is capable of effective operation in electronic warfare environments. MERKÜT can track and neutralize ground targets, enabling UAV operators to perform missions from a safe distance with no personal risk. It also offers imaging capabilities in low-light conditions.

‘Our goal is to contribute to the defense industry through innovative solutions’

M. Selman Dönmez emphasized that their innovative solutions—designed to directly address Türkiye’s defense needs and operational requirements—aim to contribute to the growth of the defense industry. Highlighting their commitment to elevating the momentum that Türkiye’s defense sector has gained in recent years, Dönmez added:
“In our work, we not only follow global trends but also leverage our own knowledge and expertise to determine how we can move our country further ahead in this field. Our goal is to enhance Türkiye’s development in the defense sector and strengthen its global competitive position. Therefore, we focus on developing products that not only meet but set world standards. We continue to work with full dedication to build a more prosperous future for Türkiye.”

‘Strategic partnerships further strengthen our contribution to the defense industry’

Dönmez noted that Titra also signed significant cooperation agreements during SAHA EXPO 2024 and continued:
“In our strategic cooperation agreement with Repkon Defense Systems, the RDS40-MGL 40 mm Revolver Grenade Launcher produced by Repkon will be integrated into Titra’s DUMRUL system. This integration will enhance field effectiveness during military operations and provide armed forces with stronger offensive and defensive capabilities.

Another agreement was signed with Nardan Power Conversion Systems. Under this agreement, Nardan’s domestically developed engines will be used in Titra’s DELİ Kamikaze UAV project. These engines will significantly boost DELİ’s performance, increasing its effectiveness in reconnaissance, surveillance, and attack operations. This cooperation marks a major step toward Türkiye’s goal of achieving greater localization and independence in the defense sector.

Under the agreement with Meteksan Defense, ALPİN—Titra’s unmanned helicopter—will be equipped with Meteksan’s MİLSAR SAR/MTI radar. MİLSAR offers the ability to scan wide areas in all weather conditions and provides high-resolution imaging. The system also enables the detection of moving targets and provides critical intelligence during cross-border operations.

Finally, under our contract with Roketsan, the number of subsystems that can be integrated onto our DUMRUL UAV will be increased, expanding its operational capabilities. Together, these collaborations will further reinforce our contribution to the defense industry.”
