Pasifik Teknoloji Becomes a Focal Point at IDEF 2025 With New Generation Systems

At IDEF 2025, Titra—Pasifik Teknoloji’s subsidiary in the defense industry—opened a new chapter in technology-focused defense systems by unveiling its next-generation unmanned aerial systems: ALPİN-2, the SEYYAH Visual Navigation System, and PARS VTOL. In addition to signing a strategic cooperation agreement with Bulgaria-based Arsenal, aiming to expand into the European market, Titra also concluded three additional partnerships with key defense industry players. Throughout the event, Titra’s booth drew significant attention from high-level domestic and international delegations.

Held between July 22–27, 2025, at the Istanbul Expo Center, the 17th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2025) witnessed strong interest in Titra’s technologies. Developed entirely with domestic capabilities by Turkish engineers, the enhanced ALPİN-2 features fully localized hardware and software, reaching 80% domestic production. SEYYAH offers a GPS-independent, high-precision navigation system adaptable to various platforms, even in jamming environments. PARS VTOL stands out with vertical take-off and landing capabilities and advanced mission performance. Through these three strategically significant systems and multiple cooperation agreements, Titra aims not only to contribute to national defense but also to expand its export capacity.

Titra also showcased additional innovations at IDEF 2025, including:

• DUMRUL – Türkiye’s first and only armed mini unmanned helicopter,
• DELİ-2 Kamikaze UAV – positioned among the top in its class globally,
• DELİ MINI UAV – offering advanced autonomous and semi-autonomous capabilities,
• MERKÜT – a fully domestic FPV drone system,
• KORGAN 2 – a versatile drone box suitable for both civil and military use.

Delegations from 42 Countries Reviewed Titra’s Innovations

The new-generation UAV systems, introduced with the participation of President of Defence Industries Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, highlighted Pasifik Teknoloji’s technological prowess and its vision for global exports. The Titra booth attracted intense interest from top national and international delegations. Notable visitors included:

Pasifik Teknoloji’s Strategic Leap Toward the European Market

Focusing on R&D, strategic partnerships, and tech ventures to bolster its global presence, Pasifik Teknoloji drew attention with key agreements signed at IDEF. To meet Europe’s increasing defense needs, Pasifik Teknoloji signed a strategic agreement with Bulgaria-based Arsenal 2000 JSC, a longstanding defense manufacturer producing NATO-standard weapons and ammunition. The agreement covers co-production, technical support, and military modernization, and paves the way for Pasifik Teknoloji to benefit from the European Union’s €800 billion defense budget.

Transformation Agreement with Turkish Military Factories

Another significant signing was with the Ministry of National Defense’s General Directorate of Military Factories (AFGM) to collaborate on converting existing manned helicopters into unmanned aerial platforms. The project targets Bell 206 and UH1 models, aiming to transform them into UAVs capable of carrying payloads exceeding 1,000 kg—an important step in repurposing resources and enhancing technological capability within the Turkish defense sector.

New Cooperation Agreements Signed by Pasifik Teknoloji at IDEF 2025

Pasifik Teknoloji also signed a memorandum of understanding with EHSİM, a subsidiary of HAVELSAN and a specialist in electronic warfare systems. This collaboration focuses on integrating EHSİM’s electronic warfare systems into Titra’s UAV platform DUMRUL, aiming to create joint products with expanded operational capability for various mission scenarios.

In another agreement, Pasifik Teknoloji partnered with NETA to localize communication systems used in UAV platforms. The collaboration aims to reduce foreign dependency in defense communication infrastructures and enhance adaptability in dynamic combat environments through domestically developed, sustainable systems with new operational capabilities.

IDEF 2025 Marked a Historic Gathering for the Defense Industry

IDEF 2025 hosted 1,491 companies, representatives from 103 countries, 231 official delegations, and over 120,000 visitors. A total of 26 new defense products were launched, and more than 1,100 products were exhibited for the first time. The event saw the signing of 270 agreements with a combined contract volume exceeding $9 billion—approximately 65% of which were export-oriented.
